Robert Neer
Co-Founder, Good Ventures

As the VP of Product Management and UX at Walgreens, I led the strategy, design, and development of technology tools, systems and capabilities that empower our pharmacy team members to enhance the health and wellness of millions of patients. With over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, I have a passion for building great products that solve real problems and deliver meaningful results.

“I want to help our graduates successfully leverage their MBA to achieve their professional goals, and I always learn something from my experience as well — it’s an experience that immediately gives back and I hope has enduring impact.”

As a mentor, I excel at…

  • Coaching on shifting into product management
  • Coaching on elevating impact as a product manager
  • Leading teams and growing organizations
  • Applying design thinking and user-centered design to product development

When I have free time, I…

ride my bike, occasionally golf, hike, and spend time outside.

I find inspiration…

in applying technology to solve real human problems and am particularly passionate right now about using it to improve access to health and wellness at lower cost with better outcomes.

My motto/tagline is…

you don’t need permission to add value. Let the work speak for itself.

My favorite book and podcasts are…

All In podcast; Zero to One by Peter Thiel; Sooner Safer Happier by Jonathan Smart

I once waited in line for…

getting my passport checked to exit East Berlin before the wall came down.
