Nate Moch
VP Customer Engineering & Services at Zillow

I am an engineering, product, and business leader who likes to build innovative products for customers, solve hairy problems, and build new businesses. I focus on developing talented leaders and building the best teams.

“I was fortunate to have many great mentors who helped me in my career, and I want to give back to the UW MBA community. I enjoy supporting working professionals as they grow their careers and love coaching them with the wide variety of challenges they face. It is very rewarding to see them succeed.”

As a mentor, I excel at…

  • People management
  • Leadership
  • Navigating career growth/changes
  • Building new products/businesses
  • Growing/scaling products/businesses

When I have free time, I…

can be found playing soccer with my boys, traveling to new places, reading, having dinner with friends and family, or learning new technology.

The best career decision I’ve made was…

not being afraid to change roles/positions (even though it was a temporary slowdown) so I could do the work I loved doing.

The one piece of technology I couldn’t live without is…

my treadmill. I work remotely and I love my walking treadmill under my desk. It has been a real game changer since I started working from home!

I once waited in line for…

tickets to an Argentina National Team soccer game when I was studying in Argentina.
