Hemanth Srinivas
Senior VP, Engineering, Amperity

I am a versatile engineering leader with over 19 years of experience working across a variety of technologies and products. My technical areas of focus are on developing robust, scalable data platforms and developing and operating mission-critical services that power SaaS-based products. I enjoy the challenge of building high-performing teams and spending considerable time and energy mentoring and guiding both individual contributors and other managers to realize their full potential and impact.

“I owe a lot of my success to mentors who took the time to give me advice, challenge, and guide me, and I’m keen to take what I’ve learned and pay it forward to the next set of leaders.”

As a mentor, I excel at…

  • Mentoring and growth of ICs and Managers
  • Cultivating high-performance teams
  • Leadership development
  • Technology innovation and scale in the enterprise space

When I have free time, I…

I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, reading, watching and playing sports. With extra free time, I enjoy traveling around the world!

I find inspiration…

All around me. I think inspiration comes from keen observation of the world and interactions around us.

As a kid, I was fascinated by…

cars, sports, music, space, and 100 other things.

As an adult, I’m fascinated by…

still cars, sports, music, and space, but add education, leadership, organizational behavior, design, culture and 100 other things.

My motto/tagline is…

“What lies behind us, and what lies before us, are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” — Emerson

I once waited in line for…

lunch in college, but I was surrounded by the women’s volleyball team. I’m 6′ tall and was the shortest in the line by many inches. Pretty memorable experience!
