Each year the Global Business Center holds the Foster Study Abroad Photo & Video Contest to showcase the transformative experiences of Foster students studying abroad. The GBC is home to undergraduate, Full-Time MBA, and Evening MBA business-focused study abroad opportunities which range from study abroad programs led by Foster Professors to exchanges with the top business schools around the world. If you are a student, check out the Foster Undergraduate Study Abroad Options and the international opportunities for MBAs. This year’s contest participants were students who studied abroad anytime between October 2022 — October 2023.

Foster Study Abroad Year in Review:

MBAs: In 2022–2023, the GBC sent 96 Full-Time and Evening MBA students on study abroad programs, a 35% increase from previous years and the most MBAs studying abroad in the last decade. The GBC also supported 24 MBAs on the Race, Culture, and Business: MBA Immersion to the American South, which is taking place again in September 2024!

Undergraduates: On the undergraduate side, there were 340 undergraduates abroad on Foster programs or as Foster majors to 26 countries! This is the most students served on undergraduate Foster programs on record.

Many of these students received scholarship funding through our GBC Study Abroad Scholarships. If you would like to support scholarships for Foster School students to study abroad, you can do so here.
